KVCD guide for newbies?

I Think someone needs to make a guide on how to convert movies into kvcd with all the new programs and options. I have been a way for awhile and can't keep up... i have no clue where to start now??..

There is no new tool. Or more precisely, all the new tool can't be considered to be used by newbies.

Process is still the same : dvd2avi - headac3che (audio) / tmpgenc (video) - bbmpeg (muxing).

All other things, mainly encoders, aren't stable enought.

And all basic guides are on the main page (right side) at www.kvcd.net

Juste change "Mpeg2Source" to "Avisource" :-)

Not: What you seems to want is not a KVCD newbie guide, but an ABSOLUTE newbie guide. And this, the site can't provide it to you. KVCD is intented to be "advanced" level. Basic is supposed to be already known.
