Is deinterlace needed ?
Greetings
I will try to create a KSVCD movie from a MJPEG captured from VCR. This MJPEG is visibly interlaced. I´d like to know if there is a need to deinterlace this movie in the coding process, or it will playback fine in a standalone DVD player without doing that. Thanx |
It's even better to keep it interlaced, and of course to set correctly the encoder to produce an interlaced MPEG2.
Be carreful, if you use a script, this script must be a adapted to handle interlaced material (not all filters can process correctly an interlaced source). Search a little on the forum, you will have plenty of examples. |
Thank you Dialhot
I´ll search in the forum |
