KVCD File Size too small?

I follow the steps of a simple guide to covert avi to kvcd and I while I am doing it everything seems to be working properly. But i start with a file thast has size 700 mb and end up with a file wihich is only abput 150 MB. I try to encode the video bit again using a higer CQ but nothing seems to be working. Am I beyond help? :(

did you verify the video you obtain till the end ? due to the size I wonder if you don't have an avisynth error in the middle of the process.

How do I verify it?

You play it in a media player :-D

(or you import it in virtualdubMod).

What is the length in minute of your video ?
What is the resolution you used ?
What is the CQ used for the encoding ?
What are the min and max video bitrate set in tmpgenc ?

Note: the quality of the final video is crappy or good ?

What is the length in minute of your video ?

Lenght of Video is 1 hour 17 minutes

What is the resolution you used ?

352 * 575 Resolution

What is the CQ used for the encoding ?

I did it twice. First tiime used CQ of 70 and second time CQ of 90

What are the min and max video bitrate set in tmpgenc ?

Its not telling me the bitrates :? :?

Note: the quality of the final video is crappy or good ?

Quality of the video is average. I mean its the same quality as the original so i guess thats ok.

Sprry about that.. amximum nitrate is 2500 and min is 300

Dialhot 02-21-2005 01:52 PM

It is absolutly not possible to have a 1h17 min long movie in 150 MB that is other thing than crappy :)

There is something wrong in all informations you give to us.
For me, you have an avisynth error and the end of the video is nothing but a red message on a black background. Check it please !
