Hi guys

Now i just spent the last 20 minutes reading this thread

I don't want to pretend to even have a clue about it or start anything but i just got myself my first widescreen TV(Sony Grand Wega lcd progection)

1 Simple question

If the dvd is anamorphic should I choosed the output as anamorphic

I assume YES but you know what happens sometimes when you assume

Yes, of course. If you choose 4:3, your TV will use a zoom mode and you will loose the resolution gain from anamorphism.
