KSVCD fitting the screen?

I have been at this one for a bit. I have a 720X480 anamorphic DVD that I want to turn into a 480x480 KSVCD. I can get it to fit the screen, but not without 16 padding on left and right. Anyone getting 16:9 to fill a 480x480 screen.

Why would you want to do that? Did you think about the fact that you'll lose a huge amount of the actual video itself?

If you want to ruin the result, this is the wrong place to ask :wink:

i still want it to stay @ 16:9 with borders on top and bottom, but I can't get the edges to sit right on the left and right. If i get it ot fit right, the video is crushed horizontally.

Where did you get that script? It crops very heavily from all sides of the image.

I think he didn't find this anyway but suggested that as an instance of what he hopes.

the edges are introduced by the parameter "overscan" that you can find in Gripcrop (if you script uses it) of in FitCD (or Moviestacker). The border is 8 pixels x overscan.
But do not remove this border if you plan to watch your KVCD on a TV ! Else the set will crop this part ! That is to avoid this that the "tv overscan" is used.
