No Video after adjusting KDVD Template

OK, I am using TMPGEnc and I have downloaded the KDVD Template which will convert to mpg2 at 352 x 480 resolution. Well, I wanted to take this lower, because I need my files to be smaller, so I try to change the resolution to 352 x 240, but the mpg2 it kicks out has no video...it's just black, but the audio is there. What am I missing? How do I need to tweak it in order for this to work?

Thanks!

Hi bomybomy,

Did you use an AviSynth script :?:
Did you encode directly from your source without filters :?:
Need more details in order to figure out what hapened :)

I am not sure what script I am using.

I pulled from the source via DVD Decryptor, then convert to AVI via AutoGK. AutoGK is the first tool I've found that keeps the audio in tact from a source w/ LPCM audio. Then, I used the KDVD HalfD1 template, and tried to lower the video resolution to get the file size even smaller.

That is the end result (smaller file size). If anyone has any ideas how to do this, while still being viewable, then I would greatly appreciate it.

Stop using Divx or Xvid or whatever else. Go directly from DVD to KDVD.

Else you can adjust the resolution as you want in the template without loosing the video so your problem is elsewhere.
