I have a Panasonic DVD-RV26 and I'm having the same problem. The menu will load up but won't play when I select a number . The dvd player says it is playing but nothing happens it just stays at the menu. And I tried every number and nothing happened. Any help would be great.

What is wrong with giving us an old Bin and Cue files...may have
been simpler.....JoJo

Maybe all of this has to do with the PBC control on some DVD players

Thought it better here rather than direct to yourself. I know how busy you must be.

Like my post says - When I insert the disc and press play it show NTSC PBC on the very little display. But I really cant do anything after that.

I don't have a PBC or play back control on the remote and certainly not on the unit BUT I do have a "Play Mode" button which switches between shuffle mode and a track list. But playing with this doesn't help.

I've got the same problem with my Panny RP-56.

If it helps when I select a number my dvd player screen shows PBC PLAY but nothing happens like I posted above. Also could it be with nero. I'm useing an older nero version than the new one. Don't know if this will help or not but thought I would throw it in.
