encoding doesn't stop...

i have some home made movies, and i want to convert them to videocd's, but when i start tmpgenc, the encoding continues, even when the movies are over, it hangs on the last frame forever, how do i fix this ?

What is the format of the source and the version of tmpgenc you have ?

I had this a long time ago and I think it's over in latest releases.

well it is a xvid but it is not a ripped movie, it is my own movie, 'cause i know we cannot discuss this on this forum.
version is 2.513.53.162

513 is quite old. Try 524 (latest one).

well

it didn't help, after the last frame it just continues to convert and it won't stop...maybe better if i format my whole drive, all that spyware over the years have ruined my windows...

@ madmega

I have same question when compress h.264 files,
so I type script below:
Code:

directshowsource("f:\example.avi",fps=25)
trim(0,????)    #???? is vedio end frame

Then compress with tmpgenc, it's ok.
