cannot see these movies with a correct aspect ratio?
I don't know how to do it:
I have a 4:3 TV set. I encoding DVD as anamorphic so if someday I buy a 16:9 tv set it will be better for me. I cant see these movies with a correct AR, doesn't matter how I set my SAP. Many of them have a world turning around in presentation and I can't see it as a perfect sphere. I don't know how deal with this issue. Please help me. |
1. Set the 16:9 flag while encoding
2. Set in the DVD Author Appl. 16:9 (letterbox/PanScan) as input Stream AR!!! (many people forget that. |

2 - I use DVDLab and don't remember that setting. I'll check it later. Thanks. |
DVDLab detects that automatically !
1/ Read one of the vob files with VLC. Tell me if the picture is 4:3 or 16:9. 2/ Read the DVD with PowerDVD. Same question. 3/ Tell me the settings you use in your standalone and is there a difference when you change it on a commercial DVD ? |

http://www.digitalfaq.com/archives/error.gif Both programs show my movie as a square, but it is a full screen movie, then I think it is normal, isn't it. I think my player dont do any change when I change settings as DVDLab was configured to letterbox and not "automatic - set by player" |
