KVCD: Finally figured it out, and my audio/video is perfect! 1 CD!

well, i finally figured out how to get my audio sync'ed up , not to be choppy, and 160 minutes of audio/video on ONE CD! yay! it took me a week of message board/useless site searching but i finally did it.

every time i used virtual dub, it rewrote the header, and screwed it all up, so i found a new method. and its ubr easy.

i posted a very short 5 step guide on my site if anyone wants to check it out, and a edited version of the 180 min template to work with audio correctly -- if anyone has problems!

giant.robot,

I downloaded your robotvcd.mcf to check it out but it can't load into my TMPGenc 8O . An error window pops up an say "illegal stream format". I think it's looking at your saved-in video source that I don't have.

Maybe you can hit New Project and do your template again without a video source and save.

Oh by the way, the red fonts are killing my eyes!

aight, heres all i did for that template. use the 180 minute template FILM. after you get the wav file extracted using AVI to WAV, open it up in winamp, and look at the bitrate, and frequency. then in your TMPEG using the FILM template change the AUDIO settings to match that of your WAV file. works perfect, well for me at least, lol. good luck!

i updated my process of audio and updated the guide, i had problems with a new non copyright movie i recently downloaded, so after a couple more webpages of info, i found virtual dub AC3 edition. im in love..../drool no more missing header files when loading your movie with virtual dub. i have a new respect for the program! :P

Please explain. What changed? How does a wave file bitrate translate into the proper setting in the TMPGEnc audio rate selection area?
