Hi Boulder,
I thought that the yv12 to rgb24 only happened when the source was not an avisynth script .
I never used converttorgb24 in my scripts while I used TMPGEnc.
Thanks for clarifying.
Cheers

Because you have Xvid installed.
The lack of a YV12 -> RGB24 converter is the reason why tmpgenc can't open an avs script. Tmpgenc does not understand anything but RGB24, and avisynth does output YV12 (is no "convertto..." is used in the end of the script).

This is where XVID codec enters in action...

And I have to add that Boulder's advice is logical, but here it is useless as we know that xvid does this job well.

However when you deal with interlaced stuff, you should do the conversion in the script. AFAIK XviD does progressive upsampling.

Does "ConvertToRGB24" has an "interlaced=true" parameter ?

Edit: just checked the manual and the parameter is there. That's a good point Boulder
