KDVD: How much overhead mux? Leave blank space on DVD?
I've made KDVD for over a year now BUT when all 3 r ready to be burned
theres either too much blank space left on the dvd+r or not enought (for a menu with tmpg dvd author) If I am encoding 3 movies to 1 disc (seperatly) what should my overhead mux size be for 1 movie (without menu) ???? Also what should be my max movie size (after mux) for 1 movie? 1475mb?? <-- too much??? Keep in mind I want 1 menu on final disc for selecting movie title :( |
try DIKO, it can use KDVD matrix and then you also dont need to worry about the calculations.

But answering in a straigh way, a whole DVD needs overhead = 180 MB So 60 MB for each one would be enough. 4300 / 3 is the video size for each one of your video streams. If you know how to deal with avs scripts, i strongly recommend you ProCalc ASPA. |
Hey cool, I'ma give it a shot. Is there a small english guide for this software
Jus so in terms of basics & steps? |

Wait for a while. |
I've used 4350MB as the available space for video and audio for 1-3 movies or several episodes per disc.
