DVD movie maker - will it be compressed?
 
hey guys i am sick of backing up my films only to discover they are over 2 hours long. i am currently converting an .avi with TMPGEnc will i be able to burn this directly to a DVD with DVD movie maker and will it be compressed? i am really stuck, any help would be great. thanks. B

Hello.

I don't think you arrived to the correct place for what you want. Here we are talking about backuping DVD on DVD or CD.

No discussion about Divx -> DVD are accepted. So, except if you want to learn much more than simply how to click on a button and wait for the result, I'd suggest you to go to Diko site and forum.

I would LOVE to learn more just dont have a clue on where to start. im very new to this as you can probably tell. and VERY confused. thanks for the quick reply and thanks for the link.

If you want to learn, you are welcome :-).

You will find a several guides that had been posted in the "avi -> KVCD" forum section. Even if they are not really "divx -> KDVD" guides, they are good starting points.

Feel free to ask any question you have as long as they do not involved Divx as source.

Cool thanks. well thats good i will look in there. i dont even know when i mentioned DivX? do nt think i did but is AVI automatically DivX? anyway. i wont mention it again and thanks for the help.
