Good audio, yes. Good quality at 350MB, no :)

We don't talk about MP4 here for obvious reasons.
Only about DVD conversions to KVCD/KDVD and only AVI (HuffYUV) compressions.

A 2 hour movie compressed to good quality at 350MB?, forget it :!:
And I mean at least 704x480 DVD resolution.
You can probably get a lower (much lower!) resolution to be watcheable on a PC screen, but at that file size, nothing will look good on a real TV set.
I mean 120 minutes or so compressed to that size (350MB).
You can get a 704x480 2 hour movie on a CD-R (KVCD) with very good quality, but it all depends on what kind of video you are compressing. If it's a low action/drama type movie, you won't have any problems fitting 2 hours on a CD.
If it's an action movie, then an hour to 75 minutes is more reasonable.
And these are all "Wide Screen" movies. Not full screen. Full screen movies, having more pixels to compress, won't fit 2 hours on a CD. An hour is more realistic.

That is MPEG-4 H264. Also known as AVC (Advanced Video Coding). Designed originally by apple. XVID and DIVX are MPEG-4 also but NOT H264.

@NittoLive

You are a little "LOST" :D

KVCD talks mainly about MPEG-2 encodes. KVCD main idea is to use a quantization matrix (named NOTCH) that improves encoding quality. So, the MAIN idea here is: backup your original DVD MOVIES and put 6 hours (~3 movies) on a single DVD-R 4.3 GB and watch them on your DVD SAP (Stand Alone Player). That is not supposed to store them on your pc. If you want to do that go DIVX/XVID . Google for that.

Forget about DIVX XVID and MP4! We do not discuss that here. Sorry.
