KVCD from scratch + DVD2AVI v1.76 ?

Hi
M not sure where to post this exactly but thought this was the nearest match.
In the English guides. you have "KVCD from scratch - A users guide v1.1" guide in which its mentioned that we need to use only DVD2AVI v1.76 and no other version. The clickable link doesnt work (neither does it in the software download section).
Please someone suggest where can I get DVD2AVI v1.76 from.
Thanks

Hello,

When the guide has been written, there was a DVD2AVI 1.77.3 and the line "use 1.76 only" meant to not use the 1.77.3. But this was a long time ago.
Today DVD2AVI has been purely replaced by DGIndex, and this is the tool to use.

Download it here :

DVD2AVI 1.76 has been superceded by DGMPGDec 1.4.6.
You can still use DVD2AVI 1.76 but I'd recommend you to download DGMPGDec 1.4.6.
Here's a copy of DVD2AVI 1.76

Here you can find a copy of MPEG2DEC3.dll to team with DVD2AVI 1.76

Here you can find a copy of DGIndex and DGDecode.dll, aka DGMPGDec 1.4.6.

Its really wonderful to see moderators replying this fast and having a healthy sense of 'comptition' between them to get ahead.
Great work Phil and Rui, Thanks Heaps.

I'm not a Moderator (at least not anymore) but I will accept the compliment anyway .
You will see that you will find kvcd.net a wonderful and peaceful forum where you can actually rely on someone else to help you out ;).
I don't mean we'll encode your movies for you, far from that.
But we'll give you as much info as needed for you to encode them yourself.
Oh and welcome aboard :D.
