Converted Video ahead of sound?

Ok, I have finished making a nice looking and sounding avi to mpeg. Used Virtualdub for wav, TMPGEnc for MP2, M1V and muxing(None of those Headache or BeSweet softwares work, hence I had to use TMPGEnc). Problem: video runs ahead of sound.
Is it possible to correct this?
Thanks Heaps for your time guys

The delay is easily corrected using...besweet :). You should probably first try to understand why this software does not work on your PC, and solve this point. Because the delay issue can be created by tmgenc...

It's probable also that you had this delay in the source, masked by the muxing (a delay can be introduced during the muxing phase) and there you are reached one of the reason why we don't want to support Divx sources here ;)

Advise for newbies: always start by encoding DVD sources to KVCD/KDVD.
Once you master the techniques then you can actually try the same with other sources namely DivX/XviD/MPEG4.
