KVCD: how to get the best quality?
Hello guys.
I have been using mostly the KVCD-CQ-352x240-_NTSCFilm_-PLUS to make my KVCDs and I have bee getting decent quality. But comparing my KVCD to others, I notice my files are less than 500MBs while their are closer to 800MBs and the quality is much better. I files I am working with are avi's that are usally between 1hr30min and 1hr45min in length. I have absolutely no idea how to use scripts, and some of the post I've look at have left me clueless from the very beginning. Anyway, as a noob, how can a get the most quality out of an avi I wish to make into a kvcd with the following info: (this movie is about 1hr44mins) SOURCE: - Filetype ? : xVid - interlaced or not interlaced ? : Not sure. How can I find out? - Framerate ? : 23.97 - Resolution ? : 640x272 - Audiosamplerate : 48khz - Audio Type ?: mp3 - Is Audio VBR or CBR ? vbr DESTINATION: - KVCD, K(S)VCD or KDVD ?: KVCD - Mode ?: mpeg1 - Framerate ? : 23.97 - Resolution ? 352x240 - Audiosamplerate ? : 44.1 khz - Audio Enc Type ?: not sure... I think mp2 - Encoding Appl. ?: Tmpgenc - muxing Appl. (TmpgEnc, BBmpeg, etc.) ?: What is muxing appl? - Authoring Appl. (Vcdeasy, VCDgear, Nero) ?: What is authoring appl? - Burning Appl. (Vcdeasy, Nero, etc.) ?: Nero If Avisynth is used: - Which Version of Avisynth Do you use? - Post your last state of your script here!: Thanks in advance! :D |
This smells like illegal downloaded movies. As you know (you have read the disclaimer, right?) we don't discuss any divx/xvid conversions here.
