KVCD: best 1-disc MPEG1/VCD matrix?

I finally got MediaCoder (64 bit version) encode DVD rips to KVCD.

Searching the web I found *many* different matrices (HCenc's ones too) so now I'm bit confused...

What's the best matrix for 1-CD backups ?

Honnestly which matrix would we recommand beside ours ? If we don't, the immediate following question would be: why not change the kvcd-notch then ?

Anyway it does not mean it is the best among all, as noone probably ever tested them side-by-side. Moreover this does not mean a lot: if you found so much matrices it's because it's not possible to have THE one.

Well, i have made some quick test and (with 1-pass ABR mode) "HCenc low" matrix seems very good...

I also tested BVCD, iVCD, Jawor-1CD and KVCD: different results, but all are quite good.

I encode @ 352x288/~1000 Kbps + 32KHz/96Kbps and it's really funny to see the encoding speed (~160 fps on E2200 @ 2.6 GHz) !

EDIT: latest release solves the matrices' fields lenght bug.
