Is there anyway to repair an mpeg already made. I lost the dvd, that I made the mpeg from, but the svcd that I made looks choppy and has large combing affect.

It's the GIGO theory. It would take so many trials with filter combinations
and the result may still be worst than SVCD you started with.
I would let it go.
