Im using DVD2SVCD with the trial version of CCE. How can I get CCE to use one of the kvcd templates for encoding?

It is much more difficult to use CCE with KVCD parameters, though you can get close. It largely depends on what version of CCE you are using as well... I believe the latest versions let you patch in the kvcd Q matrix, though at one point it wasn't automatic and had to be done manually before muxing and cutting. The SKVCD template may be appropriate for CCE use.

CCE excels at doing moderate to high bitrate SVCDs. If you are planning to do low bitrate and/or VCD work, you should really grab the trial version of TMPGEnc instead. It is much easier to use the KVCD parameters this way, and TMPGEnc is a heck of a lot cheaper than CCE. The support for TMPGEnc in the latest DVD2SVCD is just as good as the CCE support at this point, and the author even added a lot of the KVCD stuff as defaults (or selectable options).
