Kwag, I now know how much you and the others here who have been
tweaking the configs really rock!

I broke down and bought my first commercially pressed VCD
and while it didn't look bad, it just couldn't compare to the KVCDs I've
made using the information I've gathered here.

A Huge thank you to everybody who has contributed.

On the flipside, while the quality wasn't amazing, it is nice to have
a digital copy of the Star Wars trillogy with the remastered scenes
from 1997

I also have a commercial set of VCD's, "The Matrix" in 2 CD's, and the quality is FAR cry from a single CD done with the LBR using SansGrip filters

Aloha!

I'm a total newbie with all that encoding stuff, so if you could please elaborate some on that single CD done with LBR using Sansgrip filters stuff, i 'd be most happy!

I figured out how to use the basic functions ofTMPGEnc, but thats about it.
No clue about that Avisynth stuff though.

Greets,
Aeleks.

Start here http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=68 and read the links under Q-9. Search the forum on LBR. Check this guide too: http://www.kvcd.net/guides/kguide/kguide045.htm
