YEP you can do it. of course using KVCD

i just encoded Dune wich is 2 DVDs on one CD the quality is very good bu when you get fast escenes it becomes crappy and i understand the sound is on LAYERII with 112Kbps and the video is 420Kbps and this has beter quality that some of the movies on mIRC

you can get 466Kbps on the video with 64Kbps for the audio

i was pretty happy with that

good job kwag

and i would like to know if i use the layerIII will i get more space ?? if soo it wouldn tshow up on the screen where you see how much space you have left on the cd right ??

i guess i ll have to try it

You can use Layer III, and you'll gain a little more space, but it will only play if your DVD player can play MP3 audio files.

I suggest keeping MPEG audio Layer II for compatibility with more DVD players.

Actually the goal of Layer III is to preserve maximum quality at lower bit rates than Layer II.

You'll probably get a little smaller file with Mpeg audio Layer III, and the sound quality will be better than at the same bit rate with Layer II.

There is no Audio layer III in TMPEG. You need an external encoder for that.
