How to Edit the TMPGEnc Project File?

Hi,

how does one edit the TMPGEnc project file so that I don't have to use an integer in the CQ_VBR value? I've got a movie in which the file size prediction indicates that the correct value would be between 25 and 26. It seems that the file is a binary one so I wouldn't want to touch it with Notepad

Hi Boulder,

Why don't you just enter "25.5" as CQ_VBR?
The field does let you input floating point values

load the template u want then click load again then go to the extra folder in the templates folder and click on unlock then click ok, this will unlock everything in the template.

I should have noticed that the field can be edited manually and not just by the up and down buttons. Thanks!
