TMPGEnc: KDVD at 4.7GB, but big difference in M2V

Hello,
I´ve tested two DVDs:
1st (Pakt der Wölfe) - 4.717 GB ripp with DVD Decrypter by Stream Processing - then the M2V Load in DVD2AVi and save the Project - after this insert the Project D2V File in TMPEG Plus - use the KDVD H1 Half CQ70 - only Video encode - the M2V File is 1.2 GB (Film is correct) !!

2nd (Panic Room) - 4.764 GB ripp with DVD Decrypter by Stream Processing - then the M2V Load in DVD2AVi and save the Project - after this insert the Project D2V File in TMPEG Plus - use the KDVD H1 Half CQ70 - only Video encode - the M2V File is ONLY 500 MB (BUT the Film is correct) !!

Why is the 1st 1.2 GB and the 2nd 500 MB - by the same settings ? What can be the cause ??

Hi PurF@n,

Panic Room is a very dark movie. Maybe that's why the file size was so low. "Pakt der Wölfe" seems to fit the average target file size for the KDVD Half D-1 more. So 1.2GB + 500MB + audio of both, you can still fit another movie on your DVD-R :D

THX kwag.

But I´ve tested the Template with other Movies (Fast and Furious, Jurassic Park III, Netz der Spinne and Hannibal) all this Movies war very smaler then Pakt der Wölfe, hmm ;( But OK - FOUR Films with AC3 and good Quali on ONE DVD+RW is a great Job ;)
