KVCD: KVCDX3 vs KVCDplus ?

What is the KVCDX3 templates?
I note that there is one for mpeg1 and for mpeg2, - are these preferable to use over the KVCDplus 60 minute templates?

.... what templates do I use???

I've been burning vcds from avi's downloaded from the internet for about a month or so, but the more I do, the more confused I seem to get!!

Here's my current problem:
About a week ago I downloaded "AN AVI" and converted and burned them on to two cd's
The resulting vcds were the best by far than any previous burns I have done.. It really looked like DVD to me!
But on the second vcd I had a frozen frame.. and after much trial and error to correct it, I eneded up just cutting a few seconds out prior to converting (again) in TMPEG to burn a new vcd....

But here's what kills me.. I have reburned over and over again with different settings and templates and I can not seem to get the excellent quality I got the first time.. because I dont remember how I burned it last time.. I experiment to much, but I dont know much either.

sigh... yes I'm still very newbie.. and currently very frustrated... and suddenly I realize that I'm not really sure what I am asking anymore..

oh gawd.

I guess my question relates to this:
I am (for about the 5th time) going to try again to encode the second half of Star Wars 2 movie in hopes of matching the excellent quality of the first part,
the running time is about 73 minutes, it's xvid compression at 23fps...

So... do I stand a better chance trying a KVCDplus or a KVCDX3 template?

Thanks for any suggestions,

Rich

Hi Rich,

I would push those 73 minutes on the KVCDx3 :)
