Does anybody have an idea off what to try

The Problem :
When I make standard vcd and play it on my standalone, no problem
When I make kvcd,kvcdx2,plus, video is no problem, but the audio sounds like its draging(its not out off sync but it sounds like people are talking in a semi slow motion). It sounds fine on my PC

I have a pioneer dv-355 standalone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Seems you encoded your audio at 48Khz instead of 44.1Khz.

But my standalone supports 48kHz playback and my Onkyo amp also supports it, can you maybe explain why converting to 44.1kHz would solve my problem, thanks

Maybe your standalone does support 48Khz only on MPEG-2 on SVCD and/or DVD. But not on MPEG-1 as in KVCD's.

I'm working with a kvcdx2 template.

After ripping with DVD decrypter, creating project with dvd2avi, and encoding video with TMPGEnc, what is my audio source to downsample from 48Khz to 44.1 Khz? what software do I use to encode audio?

I'm assuming that after encoding the audio I just re-mux encoded video with encoded audio using bbMPEG and burn with Fireburner.

Can you help me with this audio portion of my project?

Thx in advance...

Hi fast_busy,

Use HeadAC3he to encode your audio. And make sure you select the "Downsample audio" 44.1Khz.
