Kwag,

Is it better to lower the CQ or use a different template to encode ( best 2CD for a HDTV)?

Example:

I am encoding Primal Fear for 2CD the audio 128 with the KVCDX3 template. To get it on 2CD I am encoding it at CQ=14.65. I did use the
Predictor.

Should I have used a different template?

Thanks,

Shaq

The basic rule I use to put a movie on 2 CD's:
If the movie is ~2 hours, I use the KVCDx3 528x480.
If it's ~90 minutes, I use the KVCD 704x480 PLUS.
I always use file prediction.
