new special tool called KVCD which makes perfect SVCD rips?

Hello,
I want to rip a DVD. A friend of mine told me that there is a new special tool called KVCD which makes perfect SVCD rips with an great compression, so I visited this Site. I'm from Germany and my English isn't perfect and on this site I found lots of informations, to many informations, so I don't know how this works.
So please can someone help me what I have to do to get a SVCD with this tool. Normaly I use DVD2SVCD for that, now I saw that this is also possible, but how?
Can someone tell me whats best for me?
Big thx by now and sorry for this nooblike questions!

this is a very friendly forum!
all you need is read some things and "snap"

read first the "kwags tutorials".
