I'm curious what the average CQ_VBR value is being selected for most people after prediction for some of the various templates. For example, on a recent 110min film (widescreen, NTSC) I attempted to do, the CQ_VBR value dropped clear down to 10.6 for 352x480 res (KVCD Plus). Is this about right? Similar films at 352x240 will maintain a CQ_VBR value around 20 or so after prediction.

The reason I'm curious is on my set, the 352x240 will sometimes look quite a bit better than the 352x480, and I'm wondering if it is due to the CQ value being chosen...

Bah, of course a 110min movie is gonna be low CQ. I forgot that the 352x480 template was suited best for 90min, not 120 Regardless, I'm still interested in the averages
