KVCD: VBV buffer size effects?

I guess I tried all Kwag PAL templates and tried some variations.
There aren't really nothing out there comparable to the results of Kwag templates. Now, with Sansgrip hand we only can imagine...

But I'm having a problem (maybe it's only me). No matter what I do, some movies ALWAYS have defects after conversion to KVCD. Others don't.
Best example is StarWars II - elevator scene - I always find blocks at a precise movement of the Jedi heads (ugly blocks). Not only in my Sony DVD but also on PC (Panasonic DVD reader). This don't happens when I read the CD from a CD reader 8O
As I said, maybe it's only me...
But I solved (hope) my problem reducing VBV buffersize to 20.
Sizefile was reduced and also image quality- more "texture", specially with kvcd matrix, so I needed to increase CQ around 8-10 for kvcd3.

Maybe Kwag has some advices, since I'm ruining his templates :D

My mistake!
I still get blocks on Star Wars 2. Only few.
Is there any utility that gives some information about the mpeg created like the bitrate at specific moments or a bitrate graphic?

I'll keep trying but I could use some help.
Maybe the main problem is my CD writer after all.
