KVCD: audio was out off sync just a bit?
I finished Braveheart, over 2cd offcourse it`s 2h50min long.So I finished the movie, and used tmpg to cut the completed muxed(bbmpeg) file into two parts. I did I quick scan on pc and the two parts looked fine and sounded fine. :D
Offcourse I had to demux each part and remux again with BBmpeg, otherwise quebin file is much larger than shown. :x I watched the movie last night on my standalone, and when I put in my second disk, I noticed towards the end the audio was out off sync just a bit, with the video :x . I think what happened is when I cut with tmpg it first demuxes the audio and video wich is a no,no. What I maybe should have done is cut the video and audio files seperately, and then muxed with BBmpeg. What is the easy`ist and most accurate way off doing this?? |

Use BBMpeg to join your two parts. If you used predictor to target for two CD's, then your file will fit perfectly in two CD's. Run BBMpeg and select start seconds 0 and end seconds to where you want to stop, which would be half of your mpeg file. That will mux your first CD. Then for the second part, you set the start seconds to what you had in end seconds before, and set end seconds to 99999. That will mux the second part up to the end of the mpeg file. Now you'll have your two mpeg files in perfect sync and ready to burn :D If you don't know where this options are in BBMpeg, take a look at some screenshots here: http://www.kvcd.net/guides/kguide/kv..._Step_4._Using -kwag |
It's simpler to just enter 795 in the max size field, and there's no need to enter the seconds.

Of course, you're right, just put 795MB and let BBMpeg do the cut automatically :D -kwag |
Yep, you've been really shaking things up lately :D Which is not a bad thing at all..

The seconds field is useful if you want to cut at a chapter change, instead of anywhere in the movie.

Thanks for the help guys. I love this forum :D
