My DVD player can play KVCD plus 704X480 with good picture but the sound is jumpy... Is there a possible way to correct this?

I have an Apex 1500 and the problem that i had with it sounds the same as yours. THe way that i got around it and got it to work (some what) was to take a NTSC movie (for example) and convert it to PAL.

What i would do was to take one of Kwags PAL templates and change the framerate from 25 fps to the original 23.97 fps of the movie. This corrected the audio skipping/jumping on my player. The only drawback was that i didnt get the correct aspect ratio and the screen seemed smaller.
Now ive told this to people in the past and they seemed to have found some ways around it (the screen size issue) by playing around with source aspect ratio and aspect ratio in Tmpgenc. But ever since Kwag came out with his mpeg2 x3 template i havent really screwed around with it anymore. Just try some samples and see if it works for ya

tks
