Hello all

I experimented with captures until I came up with what I think is the best capture I could get 480X480 MPEG2 @ 5mg/sec. I love this quality, but converting the 45 minute TV show to a standard SVCD reduced the qualtity too much. The only difference between my file and the SVCD is that the SVCD is half the bit rate (am I correct?).

My question is; what would be the best KVCD template for this situation.

I think that for that capture, you'll get the best size/quality ratio with SKVCD, which is 352x480.
If your standalone can play SVCDs, give that a try
