Encoding: DivX avi to mpeg for dvd player?

i have an apex AD-1100W dvd player that plays raw mpegs and vcds and many other formats. i have movies in DivX, mpeg, and avi formats. i want to know how to burn cds(i do not have a dvd burner) of these movies to play in my dvd player. it would be nice if i was able to fast forward and rewind them too...which i cant do with my raw mpegs on cd-rws. i would appreciate any help anyone has to offer. thanks

I'm looking to do the same thing, but I got a 404 on those links. Can someone recommend some other links for converting divx to mpeg? I'm looking for proggies that will allow me to do this, in particular. Thanks. :wink:
