Hey there yelever ,

Before you question can be answered we need to better understand your set up.

What is your source ?
How powerfull is your PC's CPU ?
Do you have adequate memory ?
Do you have adequate disk space?

How has TMPgenc been configured ?
Are you using AVISynth ? With what plugins & settings ?

Ok. The source an avi file. My cpu is 750mhz. Memory is 396mb. Tmpgenc was booted up then loaded in the kdvd template. Not using avisysth as haven`t got a clue how to use it.

I used to make 40-hour encodes on my old 450mhz Celeron, but that was VCD bitrates, not DVD. 50 hours sounds a lot, but it's not totally unbelievable.

Also was wondering if there was any guides to burning the dvd and stuff.

i encoded 150min. dvd in 150min. using CCE 2.66 with default settings.
Compression is not comparable to KVCD but helps.
