I guess that this is not the right forum to ask it, but, i am a little bit confused about this :

I have downloaded from internet the movie ALI ( will smith ), but the movie does not play sound !
The problem is that the sound of the movie was encoded with some " TAG2000 " , that i never heard about, and, WinMedia Player, VirtualDub and some others, can~t play the sound...

Can someone help ?

Thanks !!!

For the new MP4 format one needs Divx video & AAC audio.

It sound like the file you downloaded has 5.1 or ac3, or aac audio in it.
You may need a codec for the audio to extract and then need to convert it.

Have you tried virtual dub's Save Wav--feature?

Have you tried a program called Synchronizer 0.8--give that a try to see if you can get the audio out that way. Seems like a nice lil app.

Have you tried using I-Author, BeSweet, VStrip gui, HeadAC3he, GraphEdit?

Have you swift(ed) thru this guide? Added the Audio Filters on the page?

SUCCESS !!!

Thanks by the tips el mero, now, i can see the movie in dvd player, just need to find the best configuration of Kwag´s template to make it fine, cos the sizes of them are getting a little big for me...

Well, i really thx for your support !!!

well, just for the record, if anyone ever have the same doubts as i, here is the process

1 - Extract the audio from movie with NanDub.
2 - Rename the .WAV file to .ACE
3 - Open Headac3he and convert from .AC3 to .WAV
4 - Use the .Wav in the movie.
