Is there any way to capture a still of a MPEG1 file? I'd like to put a still from the movie at the beggining of a VCD and then use DVD2SVCD's "change CD" bitmap at the end using VCDeasy.
Thanks,
Tim

You can do that by loading the mpeg1 file into Virtual Dub. Then Video>copy source frame to clipboard. Then open up Photoshop or some other image editor and paste source image and save as jpeg. Then open up VCDEasy and Tools>mpeg stills and load the jpeg and it will make an mpeg still

Hi Timster,

Load your MPEG-1 in Vdub. Scroll to your favorite frame, and do a "Copy source frame to clipboard" on the "Video" options.
Now "paste" to your favorite graphics program. (Microsoft Paint, etc. )
