KVCD: Problem with kvcdx3 templates?
i want to put some mpeg2 video files into kvcd with the kvcd x3 template, to get more free space on my hdd. the problem i have is, that those files become to big. if i make the settings, so that the estimates file size is 798MB (which should fit on one 700MB cd-r) i get a file, that is 50MB bigger than it should be. i have no idea, why this happens.

i tried to, but to be honest , i do not understand very much of this. things like SansGrip "Sampler()" , .avs script. never heard of this :?
normaly, when tmpgenc says, the filesize will be 788MB it will make a 788MB sized file. why is it different with the kvcd templates? |

Just download v2.510
Version : 2.510. 2003/1/17 Fixed: In the Environmental setting window, General tab, checking Enable multiplex with... and chosing audio file other than mp1, mp2 or mp3 format would raise an error when starting to encode. Fixed: In the MPEG setting dialog window, GOP structure tab, when Detect Scene Change and Force picture type setting were both selected, closing the dialog window and re-open it would clear the Force picture type setting checkmark. Fixed: In the MPEG setting dialog window, System tab, chosing MPEG-1 Video-CD (non-standard) would in fact select the MPEG-1 Video-CD setting. It works for me. :D |
ok, i think i know, what this avs script is good for, still no idea, how to make one , but is this only for encoding avi-files??
as i said, i want to encode mpeg2 files ( file extension of course .mpg) can i also use those scripts for mpg files? |
