ok, i burnt the sample made with the new template (the beta one) and when i put in in my dvd player (toshiba SD-1200) the sound worked fine you couldhear everything but the video was garbled and diffrent color blocks were moving all around the screen. how can i fix this? what settings do i need to change?

also, when i tried to burn the sample from the old template the it was garbled too and the file was widescreen but on my tv it showed up fullscreen streched out and stuff

Your DVD player could be incompatible with the format.
Need more info to give you an answer. What DVD player do you have? What model? Have you tried re-muxing as SVCD as suggested in this forum by other users?
