1) Determine which happens first by playing frames where there is speaking and determine which comes first. The voice is before or after movement of the mouth. 2) Use bbMPEG and multiplex again, but this time when you get to tab "Program Stream settings" put in the settings from the Guide and at the bottom of this tab "Startup Delays" you can set a delay for audio or video. 1000ms ~ 1 sec. So, if the voice comes 2 seconds before the mouth movement set audio to 2433 and multiplex. Play back the .mpg and your sync should be closer to correct. Audio: Even thought your audio is .ac3, use the same process as described in the Guide. This should work :) The only time this might not work is if the format is .ogg :) -black prince |
Whats the easiest way to get it in sync? I mean how do i find out how far the sound is in front or behind?
i have tried about 20 times and still cant get it right |
One way is to view the mpg in WMP and skip to a part where there's a noise like an explosion or something and time the offset with a stopwatch.

audio .wav file. "Avsmon" displays the movie and the audio sync in VDub preview, allowing you to change the delay as the movie plays. I got this filter from Doom9. Do a search in their forums for it. COOL Uh! :D When you come to scenes that talking occurs, you just adjust the delay until audio and video are in sync. Write this delay value down ( 1000ms ~ 1sec) and use it in BBMPEG. :wink: LoadPlugin("E:\DVD Backup\2 - DVD2SVCD\MPEG2Dec\MPEG2DEC2.dll") LoadPlugin("E:\DVD Backup\avsmon.dll") # video=avisource("D:\Temp\Divx.avi") audio=WAVSource("D:\Temp\avseq01.wav") # LegalClip() GripCrop(352,240,overscan=1) GripResize() TemporalSmoother(2,2) AvsMon() LegalClip() I used this a few times and it worked :) -black prince |
@MrCoopz,
Here's a link for "avsmon": http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.ph...ght=avsmonitor -black prince |
So it has to be the origanl wav that u get from VDub?
cant u use the Mv1 and Mp2 files? |
@MrCoopz,
I save the .wav and .avi files just in case of sync problems and/or for short test clips for picture quality. Even after I burn the final .mpg and play on my stand-alone DVD player for the final test, do I remove all video files. As I gained more experience with KVCD, I picked up tricks and better ways to get around problems. Sync problems use to take me alot of time until I started using "avsmon". Now it's a cinch :wink: -black prince |
