Hi all

If my source dvd is PAL, and dvd2avi says 'frame type'=interlaced, i gather i used interlace mode in tmpegenc. If my source from dvd2avi says 'interlaced (progressive)' i gather i use 'de interlace (progressive)', and also if the source is FILM (NTSC) i use 'de interlace (progressive)' in tmpegend.

heh

someone explain please

Thanks.

Hi kwag

Thanks for the prompt reply as usual

Thanks for the link, but it doesn't really state if i should use 'interlace' or 'de-interlace (progressive) in tmpegenc - advanced tab. If there are no horizontal black lines going through movie and frame type is 'interlaced' i guess i leave tmpegenc set to interlace under advacned tab?

Please explain to me kwag your better at explanations

Thanks again.

Hi Adder,

If you're making a (K)VCD, you must always encode non-interlaced. VCDs don't support interlaced video .
