I've the pioneer dv-444. My experiences says that I've to increase the min bitrate to a least 650kb to get a nice playing video.

But I don't want that because when I do so I can't fit so many minutes on one cdr as most of you can do with their 300kb min bitrate.

I made the experience to that the video is still okay when i drecrease the min bitrate step by step but then I get audio skips.

Has anyone experiences in modifying the vbv audio buffer in bbmpeg? I can imagine that this could possibly solve the audio skips prob with low bitrates from the pioneer dv-444.

Sorry for my worse english.
