Using the most recents filters (the dust's and the sansgrip's filter ) I'm increasing the encode time a little (13/15 hous ). I started the last encode at 23:30h and it was stop at 15:00h . Let me ask a dumb question: How can I make a automatic way to shutdown the computer after the TMPGenc is finished? I know it is possible using the DVD2SVCD, but I'm making my encodes manually. Anyone have a trick to don't let the computer on all the time... Iīll appreciate it, because would be less apparent (for my wife ) that I am a really addict of it.

thanks.

You could use acp
It provides for shutdown after it finishes the process.

Go to Tmpgenc>File>Save Project (save the settings file with .tpr
extension) this is a project file. Next go to File>batch encode>add>(select the
project you just created)>run. When the screen returns, notice a check box in
the upper right for "Shutdown after finish encoding". Check this box and your PC will shut
down when Tmpgenc is finished. Now go to sleep or out for the evening and don't worry
about you PC being on all day.

acp works very well with DVD sources. I haven't tried encoding DivX files or avi's with it.

Tanks Kwag.
I will give a try in ACP, next time. I'm only making encodes from DVD sources, while I get more experience in all this stuffs. My target will be encode some VHS material take with a old camera. Kids parties and things like that. But is really annoying start this challenge with few knowlege (I think that's a good answer to dissimulate that I'm enjoying to make KVCD from my DVDs and won't stop it! )

Edit: Sorry: "Thanks" and no more "Tanks"
