cutting in precise time
:)
please Kwag and all that can help me. i encode lots of musical dvds, but have a problem. when i cut in tmpgenc i got an error in time using the "merge and cut" in "mpeg tools". i select the inicial and final range, but get error in time in final range. cutting the first part isn't too hard but in the next parts the error is strong(many minutes). 8O i redo the final range many times to obtain the result that i want. i think the "problem" is cutting vbr encodes! is really boring! :BangHead: :gun:  :litesbr: take long time to find the exact point to cut!!! has another easy way to cut it in tmpgenc? another prog that cuts vbr with precision? ps: i don't like to use the original chapters of the dvds cos they are in wrong locals(ever),some lost the first or final parts. thanks in advance! :) |
You can try with BBMpeg, when you mux video and audio you can choose to split by disc size or use start, end frame.

emilius256 thank you very much,... now i see where to put "start second" and "end second" i never try this way ,before i only cut in "max size". one more doubt: how i "see" the exact point that i want to cut? :? i see the time to cut but don't see where is the point that i want! thanks again! :D |
If you use bbMPEG to cut, the time it's the only thing you'll need to know.
If you want to know the exact frame, you can load the file in tmpgenc, select "Source Range" and then you can try different frame numbers to see the exact point you must stop. And you can see in the top the frame and time from your file. |
