When I encode through TMPenc there is no audio??
Hi.
I have captured 3.5hrs using virtualdub with huffy. The audio is standard PCM 44k 16bit stereo. When I encode through TMPenc there is no audio??? The AVI capture plays fine with video and audio. I have tried saving the audio as a WAV and loading seperatly, but still the final product has no audio??? I have not had this problem with the same setup and other captures. Any ideas?? I need to get this 45Gb AVI off my drive soon!!!! Thanks in advance. |
Under the settings > audio tab in Tmpgenc (ver 2.54) hit the settings button and adjust volume or normalise whole file. You can play the output audio file from here before encoding to check.

Thanks ozjeff99.
Unfortunately it doesn't work. When I click normalize and enter 50% I get the following error: "The value needs to be between 1 and 2147483547" It does the same thing with both the working AVI and the seperatly saved WAV. (both are audible when played). |
If you can play the wav file and hear it don"t use tmpgenc to encode the audio , use a audio encoder i use "db power amp" with the mp2 codec, you can use this to encode the wav file to mp2 then multiplex the mp2 to your video file.....problem solved....

You could alway use Besweet to encode the Wav file to an mp2 audio file. Then use Tpmeg to mux the audio and video.
Besweet is a good piece of kit, give it a try. |
