KVCD: jittery areas around moving figures?

Ok, i have made may first attempt at running an avs script (that took days for me to get, just stupid i guess) from tmpgnc and using the kvcdx3 templates, CQ set at 75.

Script i copied from another post by kwag and is

LoadPlugin("D:\install\tmpgnc\filters\mpeg2dec.dll ")
LoadPlugin("D:\install\tmpgnc\filters\GripFit_prev iew.dll")
LoadPlugin("D:\install\tmpgnc\filters\legalclip.dl l")
LoadPlugin("D:\install\tmpgnc\filters\sampler.dll" )
LoadPlugin("D:\install\tmpgnc\filters\dustv5.dll")
LoadPlugin("D:\install\tmpgnc\filters\temporalclea ner.dll")

Mpeg2Source("D:\dvd\toystory-kvcd\toystory.d2v")

LegalClip()
GripCrop( width=528, height=480, overscan=1 )
GripSize()
SpaceDust()
TemporalCleaner()
GripBorders()
LegalClip()
#Sampler(length=24)
## MPEG size = ((Total frames/MovieTimeInMinutes)/24) * MPEG sample file size ##

No errors, but i noticed jittery areas around moving figures.

I have already used the Red M guide and am extremely excited at the quality i see in this test (jitteriness aside).

Any ideas?

Hi bagel00,

When you ran DVD2AVI, did you set "Force FILM" :?:
If you didn't, that's the reason.

:)
it's for me too!
i'm will do Toy Story (1&2) for my kid(i have the original dvds)
to KVCDx3Mpeg2 next week.

i do ever 2 kvcds with all dvds that i get and do a backup :
1 for my kid,another to my "box file".
if one brake or scratch,i only copy another one!
(my kid has only 3 years...)

kvcds with everything about disney and/or pixar are well-come.
thank you!
:D

thanks, that worked

ok, thanks kwag for the tip, that made the quality excellent. and now i have seen you reccomend that to people at least 5 other times on other posts.

anyway, i am very close now to doing my first full movie via an avi script and am very excited about the quality.

just started the script in TMPGenc and it is crashing. I'm going to go back through TMPGenc install and setup (which I saw in the TMPGenc forum) and the latest filters, etc.

Using Avisynth 2.07, TMPGenc 2.59 (i will install 2.58 per the set up I saw from sansgrip?) on an Athlon processor.
