This brings up an idea... Would anyone who's really into KVCD/KDVD tranfers be willing to do a short newsletter on what's new, which is the currently preferred stable of filters, etc.? Weekly, biweekly, or monthly perhaps.
I'm trying to keep up myself, but I'm also doing the same on a myriad of other unrelated topics on various sites, which can be difficult at times if I don't want to spend my entire life online...
Just a thought... (Maybe even on a subscription model to provide an editing stipend for someone? The time saved would be worth $10 or so to me...)

That's a great idea gpupurs ,
An official "KVCD News Letter"
But I'm not sure about how well a subscription model would work ( or accepted )
If I was to do that, I would have to charge, say ~$18.00 a year ( $3.00 per issue ) and it would be mailed to each subscriber on a bi-monthly basis or so. Maybe monthly if things pick up and are widely accepted
I could sure put that together, but maybe a poll here to see what people think
Does anyone want this to happen

Just to be clear, I was suggesting an email newsletter with a few links to some important posts, new templates, downloads, or other software URLs, not a physical post office mailing newsletter...
And I guess I should be using your Donations page first before making future promises!

Actually I was really thinking on a 8 to 10 page printed newsletter
This would include important topics from each of the forums, hottest topics, user scripts, software links, new techniques, new software releases, etc
If I was to do a newsletter, I would go all the way , and have it physically shipped. I think some people would like that more than an E-Mail news letter, but then again, who knows what the limits will be

well you could do both, but the email newsletter could be a breif summery of the newsletter, with as suggested links to important threads.

Because it will take many hours of editing, writing, re-writing, formating, etc. It's a lot of work

I agree with Kwag, even running this site is an expense and to put a newsletter together with relevant material will be time consuming. Perhaps some kind soul could put one together and it could be posted occasionally. I'm sure kwag has a lot to do just reading the posts on this site. So guy/girls, anyone want to take up a challenge and boil the important stuff down to a newsletter format?
We're all just hobbyist here but we could do a lot better on consolidation of the material.
By the way kwag, you've done an excellent job with this site and I intend on using this a model for colaboration on other projects. There's no better way to get something done than to have many others sharing their thoughts in a RESPECTFULL manner without a lot of children whining or acting like they are to good to respond to newbie questions.
My 2 pennies.

I hope you didn't think I was yankin on kwag, I have such respect for what kwag has done since the begining of kvcd. He has broken such grounds I would never of thought possible like 360mins on 1 80min cd I love what has happend over the past year, there has been some major breakthroughs with kvcd and can't wait to see what this year will bring with kvcd.
