Hi,

I'm wondering which kvcdx3 template is better at around 1.500/1.600 kbps, mpeg1 or mpeg2?

I'm watching a lot of high-action movies at kvcdX3, spread over 2 cd's
such a Mummy Returns.

At very high action scenes, my mpeg2 creation produced a lot of blocks.
Will this be different in mpeg1?

Regards,

MPEG1 handles low bit rate better than MPEG2

Also, if your player can handle the Default settings in the KVCDX3 Mpeg1 template... Your movie will look great on 2 CD's...

If you need to lower the bitrate for your player then you should lower the resolution also...
