I've just come across KVCD and KSVCD really recently. I've been trying to read some of your posts and trying to understand what it is exactly. I must say...I don't as yet understand the concept.

I've been using DVD2SVCD (with CCE) and have been very happy with the results its produced - the only setback is the time it takes (12-20 hrs). I was wondering whether someone could in IDIOTS terminology explain to me the concept of KSVCD and whether it could do what DVD2SVCD does and whether there's any point in me trying to understand KSVCD / KVCD.
