Hi Kwag,
As I mentioned in a previous post, I tried checking the System (Video + Audio) button when using your new Plus template, but I still get read errors in TMPG. So I started to suspect that maybe there was something wrong with the avi file from DVD2AVI, and I noticed something strange. The file names from the DVD2AVI output on my old computer are similar to:
MOVIE AC3 T01 3_2ch 384Kbps 44.1KHz.wav
On the new PC with the same version of DVD2AVI, they are like:
MOVIE AC3 T01 2_0ch 192Kbps 44.1KHz.wav
Could this diference in file types be related to my problem?

Hi Morloc,

No, the 3_2 in the file name means that the audio is 5.1 DD and the 2_0 means it's stereo. Could you do a test Can you load one of the standard TMPEG templates and do a test run
I believe this is not a template related problem

Kwag,
Yes, I have tried the standard TMPG NTSC Film template, and it works fine.

And I forgot to mention:
Your Plus template works fine as well, as long as I don't try to encode the audio at the same time.
